Responsible procurement is one of the tenets of CBRE's CSR policy.
CBRE works with over 85,000 direct and indirect suppliers around the world. The Group's annual supplier spend is in excess of 48 billion euros. As such, its relationships with suppliers are critical to CBRE's success. The company is therefore committed to ensuring that suppliers carry out their activities sustainably and responsibly, as stated in the Supplier Code of Conduct.
In France, when acting as the main contractor, CBRE also uses the online software publisher e-Attestations to collect, check, index, update, issue reminders about and automatically archive certificates and other regulatory and official documents that suppliers are required to maintain (depending on their activity, size and legal environment).
To ensure full compliance with clients' responsible procurement policies, CBRE's CSR policy is regularly reviewed on the Ecovadis platform, which ranks CBRE GROUP INC (GROUP) as one of the TOP 7% greenest companies in the property sector
CBRE's corporate social responsibility is also recognised in the ratings indices of many organisations, including Ethisphere and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
